About this service

Initial training lays the foundation for every career in the airport fire service. Our modular programme follows the topic areas prescribed by EASA — from airport and aircraft familiarisation through fire and rescue vehicles, PPE and breathing apparatus, fire dynamics and chemistry, to aircraft rescue and evacuation, dangerous goods, alerting and communication, emergency planning and first aid. Training concludes with a documented examination.
